Frugal Scrapper Extraordinaire:)

For those of you who have been following my blog, THANK YOU, I'm still here and as FRUGAL as ever. I'm just expanding my blog title to further reflect my "altered" muse. I'm still the same (sometimes goofy) FRUGAL SCRAPPER that I've always been and will continue to focus on FRUGAL papercrafting projects:)

Frosted Designs Challenge

I am so excited to share another great project with you that was inspired by a couple of things...I FINALLY received the distress markers I ordered....3 months ago, lol...

Now I know I have alot to learn about the many ways they can be used, and I have watched a few videos...btw, what did we do before utube?  In any event, I really am lovin' them so far!!!

Another inspiration was a NEW set of Technique Tuesday Stamps I received recently.  I used the stamps along with the distress markers to make some awesome whimsical "flowers" and love the way the colors of the distress markers do not get "muddy".  Both the stamp set I used AND the distress markers are in stock over at Ever After Scrapbooks, so please make sure to visit.

The card here also represents the challenge over at Frosted Designs.  Our challenge was to use "lacing" in our project.  Now, I did find I was a bit "creatively challenged" on this one, but was amazed by the work the other DT members created.  Make sure you go take a look at their work.  They are VERY talented!

Here is my "take" on the challenge:)

You should also play along with the Fabulous Friday challenge over at the Frosted Designs blog as there is a really cool prize for a lucky winner of the challenge.  This week's sponsor is Quick Quotes.  Go check them out, too.  They have some awesome products.

Hello...I came over from Gloria's blog! I see Gloria made it over too. Your work is beautiful, love the style and giving that extra touch with creating the inside of the cards too.
Thought I would also share that I finally received my distress markers too, 3 months to be exact and can't wait to try them out. Happy Sunshine Saturday! :)
