Shown below is a simple card I made. I hope to make something more substantial with the powders today, but wanted to at least complete the challenge:)
I also want to show you a close up since it's hard to see the texture of these awesome distress embossing powders in a photo.
Now, I do LOVE my old "regular" embossing powders, but can I say WOW?!?!?! These distress embossing powders are an entirely different "animal". They don't get shiny, they get grungy...kind of like sand paper...the cool thing is that they STAY PUT (well except for the release crystals) that are SUPPOSED to rub off, lol:)
LOOOOOOOOVVVVE IT!!!!
Happy Crafting,
Lori, FSE:)

Hi - This is a great this card, I really love the colours. Ur close up photo really shows the texture of the powders - I couldn't get a shot clear enough! Thanks for ur comments on my entry...Happy weekend, Esther x
Lori, this is Distress Powder PERFECTION!!! What a beautiful card-- the stamp really shows off the texture of the DP, and the background stamping is a great touch. Love that little pop of turquoise with the gold and brown tones, too!
To me, this doesn't look like a simple card-- it looks elegant, and it's obvious you put a lot of care into it. Gorgeous!!!
Hi Lori, this is a fabulous card, love it. Annette x
So glad I popped back to see some more challenge entries - this is gorgeous!
Beautiful card! Ah yes supposed to rub off crystals. I met Tim and he said Don't forget to shake the bottle well before you apply the powder to mix in those release crystals. HMMMF now I find out.
WOW, Lori, this is really cool!
gorgeous! Love your combo of images, the colours and the beautiful distressed look! Hugs Juls
